GOD’S ELECT CARRIED BY GOD FROM THE BELLY TO THE GRAVE AND TO HEAVEN ABOVE

Hearken unto Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by Me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. [Isaiah 46:3,4]

Praise the Lord!

  1. What a wonderful blessing, as I have just meditated on this wondrous truth. That for God’s elect, He has carried us right from birth to the grave, but I am not quite there yet, it seems! Only God knows when I shall die, and we know this applies to all His elect. From being dragged out the deep sea for dead, when aged 5, by a fisherman who saved my life, to being given a polio vaccine which was contaminated back in 1949, as a school-girl, and has resulted in ill-health all the rest of my life, to being given the worst drug for the illness for which I suffered, by a so-called specialist, which resulted in being disabled for the last 30 or more years, to being saved in our car once coming home with our little caravan, and finding my husband and I were transported to the other side of the road, on our own, when we were in a traffic jam. I could go on and on. The mercies of our God.

Many other incidents which I could relate, but sure we have all experienced similar. At the end of this year, I will be 83 years of age, if the Lord wills it.

May I be faithful to the end, by the grace and mercy of God. Love in Christ, English Rose
