WHAT IS THIS BEGGAR DOING AT THE DOOR?

WHAT IS THIS BEGGAR DOING AT THE DOOR?

A “jesus” or a “saviour” seeking your decision and permission before he saves you is the most ridiculous lie and delusion the corrupt mind of fallen man ever came up with.

Will you sell your eternal destiny to this beggarly, effeminate hippie, who begs decisions and sinner’s prayers from door to door; or will you trust the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, which saved all for whom it was wrought?

Salvation must be by the work of Christ Alone, by His decision alone, and by his choice alone; without that, Grace is corrupted, and the sinner becomes his own Saviour.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.” [Matt 1:21]

Provoking Questions –

“And she shall bring forth a son”: Did Mary bring forth a Son? Yes!

“And thou shalt call His name JESUS”: Was His named called JESUS? Yes!

“For He shall save His people from their sins”: Did He save His people from their sin? Hmmm…(Here is the heart of the Gospel, and this is why many show openly that they don’t believe the truth as stated in Matthew 1:21, concerning what Christ would accomplish by His death on the cross).

We who have come out of the Pentecostal Religion believe with all our heart that Mary had a Son named Jesus, and that He saved ALL His people from their sins!

There are three “shall” in Matthew 1:21.

“And she “SHALL” bring forth a son, and thou “SHALT” call His name JESUS: for He “SHALL” save His people from their sins.”

The last “shall” is no less certain than the first two! Get it!

WHAT A SAVIOUR!

Maurice Montgomery

The good news from heaven to lost sinners, that glorious gospel of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ, is not a message of God’s hopeful expectations to save, but of a salvation purposed and accomplished. It is not a message of Jesus Christ knocking at the door of the sinner’s heart, hoping to gain an entrance, but of His determination and ability to give a newheart to whom He will. It is not a message of the Holy Spirit striving with the sinner’s natural will, hoping to influence him to decide for Jesus, but of His purpose and ability to make sinners willing, causing them to flee to the Lord Jesus Christ. (See II Timothy 1:9; Psalm 110:3; John 17:2; Isaiah 53:11).

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). Just as sure as his name is JESUS, HE SHALL save His people, ALL His people, from all their sins. What a Saviour!
