LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO, WHOM HE HATH REDEEMED FROM THE HAND OF THE ENEMY! [Psalm 107:2]
The drunkard who has been delivered by Christ from his sin of drunkenness and intemperance has the Bottle as his enemy from which he was delivered from and so he testifies against it! Likewise the prostitute who has been delivered from a life of prostitution has for her enemy her harlotry and whoredom and so testifies against it! And both the saved drunkard and the harlot so testify with a purpose to not only glorify God but with a desire to see other drunkards and harlots be delivered like them!
But there is a greater enemy of souls which men are delivered from! And that is the LIE which masquerades as the Truth! All false religions which call themselves ‘Christian’, be they Roman Catholics, Mormons, the Jehovah’s Witnesses or those deceived by the Pentecostal Word Faith heresy . . . they ALL fall under THIS category!
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death!” [Prov 14:12]
The drunkards in the bars or the prostitutes in the whorehouse needs nobody to tell them that their sinful lifestyle will send them to hell. Most such sinners already know that! But the nominal Christian who is trusting in his ‘wafer God’ or his fake ‘born-again’ Pentecostal experience thinks that he is on his way to heaven, and so is in a GREATER DARKNESS than the drunkard and the whore! The Master said, “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, HOW GREAT is that darkness!” [Matt 6:23]
And if we have been delivered from the darkness of these false Christian religions and false Christ’s then it is our bounden duty to expose it and testify to all WHAT it is that Christ delivered us from! In fact THIS is true love . . . i.e. to tell our loved ones that the religion in which they are trusting in will damn their eternal souls!
But if like Billy Graham or Mother Teresa we are telling the Roman Catholics to go back to their Catholic Church and be a ‘better Catholic’ it only goes to show that we have not really been saved as we claim to!
Almost every so called Reformer, Puritan or Baptist worth his salt spoke out against the Roman Whore and warned people to come out of it! [Rev 17:1, 18:4] And some of them sealed their testimony with their blood!
Nothing has changed, beloved! The Devil is as vile as he always was! Only now he is packaging his lies with more attractive gift wrappers – like the Prosperity health wealth gospel, the G12 vision, the flesh appealing ‘praise and worship’ services of the Assemblies of God etc . . .
It doesn’t take make much to preach a loving Jesus who loves all and is benevolent to all including unrepentant gays and lesbians and promises perfect health, wealth and prospeirty! That kind of wimpy ‘Jesus’ stirs no controversy and that kind of sugar coated ‘gospel’ carries no offence with it! [Gal 5:11] It is welcomed by all and if you’re interested in numbers you’d better make sure you preach this false Christ!
But if it is your prayer and desire to preach as the apostle did ‘the whole counsel of God’[Acts 20:27] and someday hear your Master commend you with a “well done thou good and faithful servant!” not a “well done thou good and SUCCESSFUL servant” but a “well done thou good and FAITHFUL servant!” then you’d better start telling it like it is and stop mincing words and let the chips fall where they may!
There’s a price to pay for that kind of preaching! But hey, you’ll be in good company, for THAT is how your Lord and His disciples preached! “And when they were come, they say unto Him (Jesus), Master, we know that Thou art true, and CAREST FOR NO MAN: FOR THOU REGARDEST NOT THE PERSON OF MEN, BUT TEACHEST THE WAY OF GOD IN TRUTH! [Mark 12:14]
Can this be said of YOU, my dear ‘born-again’ Christian?!
“The world cannot hate you; but Me it hateth, BECAUSE I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil!” [John 7:7]
